Historic logging switchback railway is located in the municipality of Nová Bystrica – Vychylovka and makes a part of the open air museum of the Kysuce village. The local railway is a part of the former railway from 1926 connecting the regions of Kysuce and Orava. It was created by connecting the original forest railways built in the period from 1915 to 1918.

The railway runs during the summer season from May to October.
