Veľká Rača / The international ski resort Snow Paradise Veľká Rača Oščadnica is located in the mountains of Kysucké Beskydy in the Kysuce region. As the resort is situated near the Czech and Polish borders, it is easily accessible throughout the whole winter and thus interesting for tourists. The resort profits from its advantages - its size and availability of three different but interconnected skiing areas - Dedovka, Marguška and Lalíky. There is a variety of slopes for skiers on different levels, so everyone including beginners and advanced skiers with the highest demands is sure to have a lot of fun in here. The offer of our services is really diverse – there are skiing schools for kids of various age, storage room, ski servicing, ski and sporting goods store. To liven up your skiing holiday in the resort, it is possible to rent a skifox or enjoy an adrenaline ride at a bobsled toboggan, which ranks among the most exciting attractions provided by our centre. Night skiing is a matter of course in Veľká Rača.

In total, there are almost 14 km of regularly groomed skiing slopes, all of them are covered by technical snow. Number of slopes: 13, out of which 7 are blue (easy), 4 red (intermediate), 2 black (difficult). Cross-country skiing lovers can also find what they love, there are cross-country tracks - Track of health of 1.3 and 5 km. The tracks start near the top station of the chairlift in the part called Dedovka. The skiing resort Veľká Rača operates a Ski Rescue Service at a highest professional level.
